Transportation allowance (one way domestic trip)

Program A, D, F (held before IUPAB2024)

Participants from overseas

• From the airport which you will arrive in Japan to the venue of the Hands-on training program which you will participate in.
• Transportation fees between the hotel and the venue of the Hands-on training program.
• From the venue of the Hands-on training program which you will participate in to Kyoto International Conference Center.

Example: Kansai Airport to Osaka University, and Osaka University to Kyoto International Conference Center

Domestic participants

• From the departure point (ex. closest railway stations or bus stops) to the venue of the Hands-on training program which you will participate in.
• Transportation fees between the hotel and the venue of the Hands-on training program.
• From the venue of the Hands-on training program which you will participate in to Kyoto International Conference Center.

Example: Meguro to Osaka University, and Osaka University to Kyoto International Conference Center

Program B, C, E (held after IUPAB2024)

Participants from overseas

• From Kyoto International Conference Center to the venue of the Hands-on training program which you will participate in.
• From the airport which you will depart from Japan.
  Example: Kyoto International Conference Center to Kanazawa University, and Kanazawa University to Tokyo (Haneda) Airport.

Domestic participants

• From Kyoto International Conference Center to the venue of the Hands-on training program which you will participate in.
• From the venue of the Hands-on training program which you will participate in to to the departure point (ex. closest railway stations or bus stops) .

Example: Kyoto International Conference Center to Kanazawa University, and Kanazawa University to Meguro.

Accommodation

For both overseas and domestic participants

• Accommodation fees of the total program days plus 1 night.
• 10,000 JPY per night
  *For example, if you participate in Program A, you will receive 40,000 JPY for 4 nights (Check-in date: June 17 / Check-out date: June 21).

Notes

• Please use public transport such as trains or buses.
• Please choose the least expensive route.
• You need to submit receipts of air tickets, train tickets, bus tickets and receipt for the hotel you stayed at after IUPAB2024 ends.

Important note: We will support the travel expenses to those who have attended the full duration of the Hands-on training.

Notes：

• We do not support taxi fares.
• We will send you the format to enter the routes/fees you’ve used for your travel, hotel information, and your bank account information after the IUPAB2024 ends.
• Receipts and the designated format must be returned to us for review by the designated date.
• We will make a bank transfer after the reviewing process, which might take more than a month.
