The 16th meeting of the International Association of Phonosurgery (IAP Kyoto 2022) would like to invite you to submit abstracts and present at IAP Kyoto 2022.

Presentation styles

Accepted abstracts will be presented in Oral Sessions or Poster Sessions.
All presentations must be in English.
Authors can indicate their choice of preferred type of presentation in the submission system.

Please understand that the committee will make the final decisions on the presentation type and the presentation session of the accepted abstracts.

The committee seeks abstracts in the following topics.
Authors will be asked to select 2 topics when submitting their abstract.

Abstract Submission Guidelines

  1. Abstracts must be written in English.
  2. Abstract tile: maximum of 40 words
    Abstract text: maximum of 350 words
  3. The abstract text
    Content must be organized in the following structure: Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusion.
    Example)
    Background: A statement of purpose of the study (preferably one sentence).
    Methods: A brief statement of the methods used. For abstracts reporting clinical research, a sentence or phrase presenting the most important selection criteria for subjects should be included.
    Results: A summary of the results presented in sufficient detail with statistical analysis to support the conclusions.
    Conclusion: A statement of the conclusions reached.
    It is not satisfactory to state, "the results will be discussed," or "other data will be presented," etc.
  4. Tables and graphs should not be included in the abstract.
  5. The maximum number of authors
    (including the first author and co-author(s)) allowed: 5
  6. The maximum number of author affiliations allowed: 10
  7. References can be included in the abstract text.

Abstract Revisions

The abstract submission system accepts changes to abstracts up to the submission deadline.

Notification of Acceptance

Notification of acceptance/rejection will be sent to your e-mail address around August 2022.
The Presenting author will receive all correspondence regarding the abstract status, presentation type, date and time, via the email provided in the abstract submission.

Registration and Payment

The Presenting Author must register for IAP Kyoto 2022 and pay the registration fee by August 30, 2022. Abstracts will be automatically withdrawn if the Presenting Author is not registered by this time.
