Established in January 2001, AOMC emerged from the collective endeavors of founding members hailing from 11 countries and regions. Founded in February 2015, the Japan Muscle Society (JMS) has been a force driving the advancement of muscle research in our nation. Grounded in a commitment to addressing societal and academic needs, JMS has successfully cultivated an interdisciplinary approach to overcoming various muscle-related disorders. The society's dedication to both the fundamental research of muscles and the application of this knowledge to clinical practice underscores its pivotal role in improving patient outcomes.
