Numerous clinical trials, including both industry-initiated and investigator-initiated studies, are being conducted in Japan and globally. In some of these trials, results become available after the closure of the abstract submission period, while others may have findings presented at international scientific meetings held shortly before the 113th Annual Meeting of the JUA. Such results are undoubtedly of great interest to many urologists.

To facilitate the timely sharing of these significant findings with the association’s members, we have decided to host a Late-breaking & Encore Session during the 113th Annual Meeting.

We warmly invite researchers wishing to present their latest findings to submit abstracts for this session.

February 2nd (Mon.) – February 16th (Mon.), 2026 (JST)

Important Points in Submitting Late-breaking & Encore Abstracts

• Encore presentations must be approved by the conference where the presentation was first made (the conference that holds the copyright to the presentation).
• Please clearly indicate on the COI slide that this is an encore presentation.
• Only a limited number of abstracts will be accepted. The acceptance of abstracts and the assigned presentation dates will be determined by the scientific conference organizer and results will be notified to applicants late March.
• The accepted abstracts will not be included in the conference program book. They will only be available in the online abstract browsing system and the conference app.
