We recommend that international participants who require a short-term business visa to attend the conference prepare their visa application in advance.

Visa Requirements

• Visa Information: You can confirm your visa requirements by visiting the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan website under the "Visa Application Procedures:" http://www.mofa.go.jp/j_info/visit/visa/
  Alternatively, you may contact the Consular Section of the Japanese Embassy or Consulate in your area for further details.
• Tourist Visa: For most participants, a tourist visa may be sufficient. However, if you're unsure about your eligibility or visa type, we advise applying for a short-term business visa to avoid complications.
• Short-Term Business Visa: If you need a short-term business visa, you will need an official invitation letter and relevant documents from the conference organizer. These documents will be provided after you complete your registration and submit a filled-out visa questionnaire with the necessary details.
• Applying Process of the Visa Application-Supporting Documents:
  1. Complete your conference registration and payment.
  2. Please contact the email address below and inform them that you require visa support for JCA2026, including your full name.

  3. You will receive a visa questionnaire and payment instructions. Please complete the required procedures accordingly. This questionnaire is crucial as it helps us understand your visa needs and prepare the necessary documents for your application.
  4. Once processed, you will receive the invitation letter and supporting documents.
• Document Issuance Timeline: The supporting documents for visa applications will be issued sequentially starting in end of July 2026. Please allow up to 7 working days for processing, as this time is necessary for us to review and prepare your documents accurately.

Important Dates and Costs

• Visa Validity: The issued visa will be valid for 3 months from the date of issuance.
• Costs: You will be charged for issuing visa application-supporting documents.（22,000JPY）
