The Japan Adhesive Tape Manufacturers Association will hold the 8th Global Tape Forum 2026 (GTF) from November 17th to 19th, 2026, at the Hamamatsucho Convention Hall.
GTF is an intenational conference on adhesive tapes, comprised of five adhesive tape industry associations from around the world (PSTC in the US, Afera in Europe, CATIA in China, TAAT in Taiwan, and JATMA in Japan). Since its first meeting in Orlando, USA in 2009, GTF has been held every two years, with the five associations rotating among them.
Due to its simplicity and diverse functionality, adhesive tape has expanded its uses in a wide range of fields, from homes and offices to automotive, electrical/electronic production processes and medical applycation. In recent years, the materials and manufacturing methods used in adhesive tapes have been changing in order to realize a sustainable society. I believe the adhesive tape industry will continue to grow through the creation and development of even more new technologies and functions.
The 8th Global Tape Forum 2026 will bring together organizations and companies involved in adhesive tapes from around the world, providing an excellent business opportunity for diverse discussions on the science and industry of adhesive tapes. I hope that many people involved in the adhesive tape industry will take this opportunity to participate, build and expand global networks, and make this a meaningful and productive international conference.
