We are delighted to host FARO2027 — The 8th Meeting of the Federation of Asian Organizations for Radiation Oncology — from Wednesday, May 26 to Friday, May 28, 2027, at the Osaka International Convention Center, Japan. The meeting will take place jointly with the 40th Meeting of the JASTRO High-Precision External Beam Radiotherapy Group, offering a rare opportunity to connect regional dialogue in radiation oncology with advances in high-precision external beam radiotherapy.

The congress theme is “Radiation Oncology 2050 in Asia: Uniting for the Future of Cancer Care.” Across Asia, the need for high-quality radiotherapy is expected to rise steeply in the decades ahead as populations age and cancer incidence increases. Realizing timely, safe, and equitable access to modern radiotherapy will require sustained collaboration among professional societies, training programs, and clinical services—not only within each country, but across the region. FARO2027 is intended as a forum where we can share evidence, experience, and practical strategies, and where friendships among colleagues can strengthen the networks that make long-term progress possible.

We invite radiation oncologists, medical physicists, radiation therapists, nurses, researchers, residents, and students—from Asia and around the world—to join us. The program will feature plenary lectures, symposia, oral and poster presentations, and ample time for discussion.
