Personal Statement. I have a successful academic careeras a physician, educator and proponent for expansion of technology to improve the care of mypatients and the quality ofcare provided usinginformation and knowledge. I have practiced neuroanesthesia for over 30 year. My areas of clinical expertise are introperative neuromonitoring, geriatric neuroanesthesia including deep brain stimulation and anesthesia for major adult spine. I have extensive expertise in medical education thatcurrently includes the International Council on Perioperative Neuroscience Training (ICPNT) Board and I continue to serve postgraduate education in roles such as CME editor for Anesthesiology.
