We are pleased to announce that the EWALT (Eastern and Western Association for Liver Tumors) 2021 Single Topic Conference will be held online on April 23, 2021.

Originally scheduled to be held on April 23 and 24, EWALT 2021 has been postponed to February 2022 in light of the spread of COVID-19.

We have decided to organize a Single Topic Conference online this year as three years will have passed since the last conference held in Houston in February 2019 and to make EWALT more widely known to the public. The theme of this conference will be “Liver surgery under COVID-19 pandemic conditions”.

We will feature lectures on COVID-19 and liver surgery from liver surgeons in Japan and abroad and hope to provide all with a valuable opportunity to access the latest knowledge from the field.

Participation is free of charge, and we hope to see many of you at the event.

We would like to take this opportunity to show our appreciation to the Japanese Society of Hepato-Biliary-Pancreatic Surgery and the Liver Cancer Study Group of Japan for their generous support in the organization of this conference.

We are looking forward to seeing you at EWALT 2021 Single Topic Conference.
