Travel Grants Award

• Travel Grants Award aims to encourage scientists and clinicians to present their work and exchange new scientific ideas with peers. Only the presenting author of abstracts can apply and win the following awards.

• Grant of JPY 50,000 (awarded directly to the winners onsite)

• Exemption from congress registration fee

Application Requirements

• Only the presenting author of abstracts can apply and win the award. Applicants must be 45 years old or younger as of June 30, 2020.

• The applicant must be of non-Japanese nationality and resides in a country other than Japan.

• Abstracts must contain original data and should not be presented or published elsewhere prior to this submission. Abstracts good scientific quality are awarded.

• Winners must present their abstract in oral and/or poster presentation session in JSTH 2020.

• Winners must show your ID such as passport to confirm your age (45 years old or younger) at the congress desk to get the Grant.

Application and notifications

• Upon submission of abstracts in English select travel grant application box.

• Authors applying for travel awards will be notified in their abstract notification e-mail.

• Even if you would not get the Travel Grant, you could still present your data at JSTH2020 with registration fee (JPY 5,000).

Qualification for Applicants

The speaker should pay registration fee for JSTH (JPY 5,000), unless the speaker got the Travel Grant. Details of Travel Grant are described at the top of this page.

Abstract Category

The submitter is required to select the most appropriate category from the following list for the abstract in the online submission.

Main classification

• Coagulation and bleeding disorders

• Thrombotic disorders

• fibrinolysis

• platelet/VWF

• Vasculature/Immunology/Others

Sub classification

• basic research

• pathological analysis

• diagnosis/methods

• treatment/prevention

• others

Instruction for Abstracts Submission

1. Registration is only from the Internet. Applicants may register from the following ‘Log In’ page.

2. If you do not receive the confirmation e-mail within one day after submitting the abstract, which could be the possibility of submitted improperly, please contact the Secretariat by e-mail (jsth2020@c-linkage.co.jp). Secretariat is not responsible for the incident when you leave the case without receiving the confirmation e-mail.

3. Login ID and Password are required when you make modifications of your abstracts.

4. Secretariat is not responsible for the corrections of the information submitted by applicants. Please confirm your application before submitting. Furthermore, secretariat is not responsible when applicants have imperfect submission due to their Internet environment or technical problems.

Abstract Format

Abstract Title - Abstract title should be max. 90 characters.

The total length of the abstract should be max. 1470 characters

Acceptance/Rejection

The Program committee has the final decisions of acceptance/rejection of the applied papers and presentation preference.
