On behalf of the Society and the Local Organizing Committee, it is our great pleasure to extend our warmest welcome you to the 33rd Congress of the Japanese Society on Thrombosis and Hemostasis, to be held in Kagoshima, the most southern part of Japan, April 22- 24, 2010.

Under our scientific theme, “the Bench to Bedside, Bedside to Bench in Thrombosis and Hemostasis,” basic and clinical sciences will be discussed. These include the recent advances in antiplatelet and anticoagulant therapy, vascular biology and platelet biology.

Spring is the most beautiful time to visit Kagoshima, a city of history most certainly, but also of innovation, academics, business, culture, sports, and entertainment.
