Call for Abstracts
- Original and unique presentations in the various surgery fields are solicited from an open field of applicants.
- Only one abstract per applicant will be accepted.
- The Congress President reserves the right to accept/reject submitted abstracts. Such decisions may be based on factors such as presentation style as well as presentation field.
- Approved abstracts will be published in Japan Surgical Society publications and our website.
- Abstract texts
Abstracts for review: less than 800 full-width characters/1600 half-width characters. Tables and figures will be submitted along with abstract texts. Abstracts for printed in abstract books: less than 400 full-width characters/800 half-width characters Tables and figures cannot be submitted. If you are submitting an abstract for IS or IVS session, please submit an asbtract up to 2,000 characters for printed materials.
Application
- Applications are accepted only through online via this website.
- System will get busy around the deadline of the submission. In order to submit your abstract successfully, it is highly recommended to complete your submission well before the deadline.
- Your abstract registration number and password will be required when you make modifications or to search your submitted abstract. Please be sure to keep the information issued to you when you register. Note that for security reasons, inquiries on passwords will not be accepted.

Traveler's Grant
Applications are accepted for general presentations by overseas researchers (aged under 40). If a Traveler's Grant is approved, a portion of travel expenses and registration fees for the Congress will be covered by the organizer.

Notification of acceptance/rejection will be made online. Date of notification will be announced at the dater stage on the website.
