Financial Assistance to Investigators
The award encourages investigators from abroad (non-Japanese) to undertake or continue hypertension research and to participate in the 33rd Annual Scientific Meeting of the Japanese Society of Hypertension (JSH) taking place in Fukuoka, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. The award will be presented at this event to up to 50 qualified investigators who submitted papers, Category of International Session and China-Japan Joint Symposium. Travel grants for accepted papers will be made available to those whose papers are outstanding scientifically. The award carries a monetary prize of approximately JPY50,000 (roughly USD620, EUR400), and will be granted to selected winners of 50 investigators.
Eligibility
The candidate must submit the paper via this website under the category of International Session.
The work described in the paper must be original and must not have been presented or published before the meeting.
Basically, the candidate must be nonresidents (residents overseas).

The candidate must submit the paper for the 33rd JSH meeting.

Curriculum vitae
Letter from the candidate, co-signed by the mentor (superior) attesting that the research was performed primarily by the candidate, that he or she is the senior author of the paper and currently employed, and that the research has not been previously published or presented elsewhere.

Notification of the result: Papers will be selected by the JSH committee. It will be announced to the first-author by email. Accepted papers will be published and distributed.
Registration Fee
Registration fee for the 33rd JSH includes International Session is JPY 5,000.
Registration fee for China-Japan Joint symposium will be announced shortly.
