Goals of the Session

To provide opportunities for young, foreign investigators either studying in Japan or outside Japan.

To exchange information concerning basic and clinical aspects of hypertension;
physiology, molecular biology, genetics, epidemiology, prevention, nutrition, hormones including renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system, vasoactive substances including nitric oxide and superoxide, obesity and metabolic syndrome, chronic kidney disease (CKD), BP monitoring, pulse wave velocity, target organ damages, stroke, ischemic heart disease, heart hypertrophy and failure, etc.
China-Japan Hypertension Joint Symposium (poster presentation)
Abstracts from Chinese researchers studying in China and/or Japan and those from Japanese researchers who are interested in the China-Japan interactions are expected.
