General Information for Chairs and Speakers

Information for Chairpersons and Speakers(Oral Presentations)

For Speakers

  • 1.Presentation Time Invited Lectures: as informed in advance.
    Award Session: Presentation 10min, Discussion 5min
    Grant Session for Basic Research: Presentation 10min, Discussion 5min
  • 2.Only computer presentations will be provided in the Oral sessions
  • 3.Please be sure to register your data at the PC Preview Desk(Lobby of the Shinagawa Intercity Hall)at least 30 minutes prior to your presentation.

Preparation of Presentation Data

  • 1.MS Power Point( Windows ver. 2010 or later) - Please use the Windows standard fonts.
  • 2.Resolution is XGA(1,024 ×768) - Using of higher resolution may result in various projection trouble.
  • 3.Please bring your back-up data with you for data trouble. The Secretariat is responsible to delete data after the congress.
  • 4.Please put‘ Abstract Code’and‘ Your Name’at the beginning of your filename.
  • 5.If your presentation data is linked to other files(i.e. still or moving images, graphs, etc.), those linked files should also be saved in the same folder, and the links to be checked beforehand.
  • 6.Please bring your presentation data with either USB flash memory or CD-ROM. You will be asked to preview it at the PC Preview Desk.
  • 7.If you bring your own PC, please make sure to confirm shape of output terminal and bring terminal for connection if necessary. Mini D-sub15 pin 3 row connecter(normal monitor terminal)will be used for connection.
  • 8.When the presentation data is prepared in Macintosh, please bring your own PC.
  • 9.If there is any COI, the oral presenter should use the disclosure slide to present COI after the title slide, in order to clarify the names of companies and / or associations in question. For details, please refer to the official website.

Presentation Language and Data

All presentations must be in English and all presentation data should be prepared in English.

For Chairpersons

  • 1.Please be seated at‘ Next Chairperson’s Seat’in the front row in the session room at least 15 minutes prior to your session.
  • 2.Please start and end your session at the appointed time. Punctuality is appreciated.

Information for Chairpersons and Speakers(Poster Presentations)

Poster Mounting, Discussion and Removal

The secretariat will prepare a panel with your poster number.
Pins will be provided along with the board.
- Poster Mounting area is H160cm × W90cm.
- Please prepare a slip with title, name(s)of author(s), and affiliation(s)with the size of H20cm × W70cm.

January 7th(Sun.)17:00~18:30

*Any posters left behind after the removal time shall be removed and discarded by the Secretariat.

Poster Discussion

Presentation Time is as listed below.
You are requested to be ready in front of your poster at least 5min. prior to your presentation.

  • 1.Presentation Time[January 6th(Sat.)19:05~19:45] Presentation 4min Discussion 2min
  • 2.Free Discussion Time[January 6th(Sat.)19:45~20:35] Discussions should be held in front of your posters. Participants will be free to view the posters and to discuss with presenters during the designated time. During the specified times, please be in front of your poster to answer any questions from the participants.

Presentation Language and Data

Conflict of Interest Disclosure

If there is any COI, the poster presenter should use the disclosure format for the last of the presentation page, in order to clarify the names of companies and / or associations in question. For details, please refer to the official website.

Poster Award

The poster awards will be selected. The winner(s)will be announced at the Get-together.

For Chairpersons

  • 1.Please come to the‘Chairperson’s Check-in’at the lobby of Shinagawa Intercity Hall 15 minutes prior to your session and be ready in the poster session room at least 5 minutes prior to your session.
  • 2.Please start and end your session at the appointed time. Punctuality is appreciated.
